Ayahuasca Raura � Luz de la Ayahuasca � The Radiance of Ayahuasca

In this painting we see the changing influence emanating from the celestial bodies on our future, showing us that our destiny is not static, it is in constant flux and we need to actively seek our future. The earth in the picture is enveloped in a luminous rainbow which represents the celestial influence of the huairamama, the cosmic serpent.

We see Queen Samhadi, �the illuminated one�, presenting to King Kundal a golden vessel containing a balsam prepared from the most fragrant plants and resins. It is a symbol of the natural world which surrounds us, all that we sense and perceive.

Pablo Amaringo

Recognized as one of the worlds great visionary artists, Pablo Amaringo was renowned for his intricate, colorful paintings inspired by his shamanic visions. A master communicator of the ayahuasca experience--where snakes, jaguars, subterranean beings, celestial palaces, aliens, and spacecraft all converge--Amaringos art presents a doorway to the transcendent worlds of ayahuasca intended for contemplation, meditation, and inspiration. Pablo Amaringo (1938-2009) trained as a curandero in the Amazon, healing himself and others from the age of ten, but retired in 1977 to become a full-time painter and art teacher at his Usko Ayar school in Pucullpa, Peru.
